ABSTRACT

Total knee replacement (TKR) following previous high tibial osteotomy (HTO) continues to be a technical challenge. The central issues are difficult surgical access, distortion of proximal tibial anatomy and loss of proximal tibial bone. We review our results and discuss the advantages of a low-profile resurfacing prosthesis in overcoming anatomic distortion.
